Brian Carty, MD, MSPH is a board-certified internist who specializes in addiction medicine and internal medicine. He has an MD 1984 / Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, a BA (Honors) 1977 from UNC Chapel Hill, and a Master of Science in Public Health 1980 from UNC Chapel Hill. He completed his internal medicine residency training at U of Utah/ Salt Lake City in 1987 and a research/ infectious diseases fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in 1988. He has practiced medicine in a variety of settings for over thirty years.
